Laptop Problem & Solution
(1) Laptop Total Dead – No light Glow charging and Laptop
Power Light
Solution- In this condition check voltage at
battery charger connector. It charging voltage is available but laptop does not
ON. Its means ON/Off switch, Super IO, ICH problem
(2) Laptop Work Only Adapter –
Solution - In this condition check battery, its
may be week (faulty). And confirm battery connect new. If battery ok then ‘battery
circuit’ problem and check battery charging voltage at battery contact.
If voltage not present it means battery
charging circuit problem. Check battery Fuse, MOSFET and charging IC.
If voltage present it means battery
problem then replace the battery and repair it.
(3) Laptop Work ON only Battery –
Solution - In this condition check volt in
circuit, main fuse charging jack, MOSFET and PWM IC.
(4) Laptop Work ON only Battery –
Solution – In this condition RAM, Graphic Card
(Chip), North bridge, VRM circuit and also Bios
Step 1 – Check RAM supply voltage on RAM
slot and RAM NPC capacitor. If No voltage present check RAM section, MOSFET and
PWM IC.
Step 2 – If RAM section ok then check
graphic chip voltage and NPC capacitor near graphic chip.
Step 3 – If graphic ok but graphic chip heat
more, Its means graphic chip problem. Then reball and replace IC
Step 4 – If graphic IC and RAM supply ok
then check GMCH supply on north Bridge in NPC capacitor. It No voltage present
then check chip set section.
Step 5 – this problem is come to VRM
section. Processor heat then VRM section is OK. It problem then check VRM
circuit voltage and MOSFET, Coil, capacitor.
Step 6 – If above section is Ok but same
condition than check ROM Bios supply voltage 3.3v. If supply ok then flash or
reprogram.
(5) Laptop Indicate Battery Charging and
Adaptor light also indicate but after press ON/OFF button laptop not ON.
Solution – In this condition check ON/OFF
switch voltage. It should be MOSFET less than 3.3v but laptop does not ON.
Check switch it may be faulty. If no voltage present than check super IO supply
and also ICH chip supply and helping component. If above is ok but same
condition then reprogramming Bios.
(6) As soon as laptop ON and all LED
glow and just OFF laptop also OFF
Solution – In this condition check primary
MOSFET of voltage in circuit VRM circuit, RAM Circuit and Chipset and Stand by
voltage.
(7) Laptop ON and Hard Disk Light Does
not blink
Solution - In
this condition first fault confirm the display present or not. Check hard disk
supply and also hard disk data track to ICH. It may be also hard disk faulty.
If no display present – In this condition check VRM
section, RAM section, Graphic chip, GMCH and also BIOS.
(8) Laptop On but After Some Time –
Solution – This condition mostly overheating
and thermal problem.
First clean the heatsink and place
new cooling paste. After it some condition than check GMCH, ICH and any one IC
by putting the finger. If anyone chip or IC more heat than check near component
and IC.
(9) Laptop ON but company logo hang, Not
any respond –
Solution – In this condition to replace and
Flash the BIOS
(10)
Laptop does not going to Bios when
press Bios key –
Solution – In this condition to replace and flash Bios
(11)
In Bios setup hanging the laptop
some time work and sometime not work –
Solution – First of all remove the CMOS battery and check condition
problem some than flash the Bios.
(12)
Laptop BIOS does not save any
setting while CMOS battery is Ok –
Solution – First of all remove the CMOS battery than again insert
but same condition than Bios software (Flashing) problem.
(13)
Laptop working of battery mode but
after connect charger laptop hang (restart Off) –
Solution – First of all check the laptop another charger but same
condition than check only voltage in circuit on motherboard. It may be any NPC,
MOSFET faulty.
(14)
Total Keyboard not working but
connect new keyboard same condition problem –
Solution – Check connector and keyboard
