(10) Mini Express Card (WLAN / WiMax)

Problem – Wi-Fi not working

 

Checking Point Wi-Fi

·       Confirm Wi-Fi driver install. It should proper install.

·       Confirm Wi-Fi antenna wire proper connect and confirm wire it may be break and also wi-fi antenna it should be proper.

·       If above ok, then check 3.3v, 1.5v / 1.2v on wi-fi slot / wi-fi card NPC capacitor it should be present, but same condition then clean the pin of wi-fi card after it same problem then replace wi-fi card

·       If this voltage absent then check stepdown section.

 

 

Note – अगर पुराने मदरबोर्ड के wi-fi स्लॉट के पिन नंबर 22 पर 5 वोल्ट की supply आ रहा है तो VRM, PCH, VGA, 3/5v, RAM ये सभी section ok है।

 

Note – पुराने मदरबोर्ड मे Wi-fi पिन की संख्या 54 होती है और नए मदरबोर्ड मे पिनों की संख्या 44 होती है।

 अगर 54 पिन वाले slot है तो उसके 22 नंबर पिन पर PLT-RST होगा और 44 पिन वाले मे 44 नंबर पिन पर  PLT-RST आएगा। अगर PLT-RST पर 5 वोल्ट की supply आती है तो समझिए VRM, PCH, GFX, VGA, 3/5, RAM section सही है। हमे इन सभी section मे काम करने की जरूरत नहीं है।

अगर supply ओके है तो फिर supply Super IO को जाएगी फिर Super IO BIOS को भेजगी तब जाकर सिस्टम on होगा।
