Software

 Operating System – All system need basic software known as operating system of function . operating system act as an interface between user , hardware, application, program, and peripheral device.

 

Operating System - All systems of basic software There is a requirement which is known as the operating system function. operating System as an interface between the user, hardware, application, program, and peripheral device Functions.

Two types of operating system

A- COS ( Client Operating System -: Client operating system can be used in a normal computer.

B-NOS ( Network Operating System - : The network operating system is used for the server . Many computers can run from the same server, such as in a bank, in a private or government company, etc.

                              Type of mode / work

1- CUI (Character User Interface): This can only work from the command line.

That is, if you work on command. If you do, it will come under CUI.

2- GUI (Graphical User Interface) - : From this interface You can do graphic line work (just click). That is, if we use a mouse on a computer or laptop , then it will come under the graphical user interface.

Control Pannel

The control pannel is a part of the Microsoft windows. Which allows user to view and system setting and control via such as adding hardware, adding and removing software , controller user account and changing accessibility options .

You can delete the software through the control panel, manage the account. And all settings come under the Control Panel.

Main Tools in Windows

1- Disk Management -

* This is feature of Microsoft operating system

*In this feature we can create partition,     delete partition and  change the drive

*It is a new feature of window xp,vista,window 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11

On Disk Management To go, first right click on This PC or My Computer, then go to the Manage option and then Disk Management. The option is to go, now you can see your disk. Now if you want to delete the partition If you want to add a partition, then click on Extend Volume (Note – The partition on which the extent is being volumed, only the partition after that will be added, but that The partition has to be deleted. Copy your data before deleting it. Now if the disk's If you want to create a partition, click on the shrink volume and type the size of the partition and click Next.

 

Partition

It is a process when we one hard disk divided into many part that is called partition. By partition we search our data on the hard disk in short time period and provide a better security for data.

a) Primary – It is a main partition of hard disk where operating system many type of package store in this partition, when we start PC use C:

The primary partition is the main partition of the hard disk that becomes the By default c drive । Maximum 3 Primary partition

b) Extented– It define a free space , where we create a multiple    logical drive

That is, the extended drive. Inside, you can create a logical drive. But only three partitions can be done in the primary. If there are more than three partitions, then it will come in extended .

 

C) Logical – A logical drive provide a separate drive partition .

            Where we can store different 2 type of data like as

            Mp3 , video, software

 

Note – 3 will the fourth logical be created only after making the primary partition.

       Maximum 3 primary partition like as – C , D , E

       Maximum 21 logical partition 

               Maximum 2 Floppy like as – A , B

 

Hide partition -

Device Manager

Device Manager control all device in our computer and check if the device are working properly or not . like as Lan card , sound card, hard disk cd drive etc.

 

Driver – Driver is a program or software . It is used to established communication between hardware and software operating system and it is utility software.

Ø Right click on my computer/this pc

Ø Manage

Ø Device manager

A driver, a program or There is software. It is used between hardware and software operating systems. Communication is done to establish and it is utility software. If the driver If your WiFi, sound, USB port, mouse, keyboard, etc. are not installed, then your WiFi, Sound, USB port, Printers etc. will not work.

Note – yellow mark on driver name , indicate driver not install / update

If the device (WiFi, If there is a yellow mark on the sound, mouse, keyboard, printer, then either the driver is not installed or the driver is not updated.
